Continental Opens Expanded Rayong Tire Facility and Motorcycle Radial Line
Continental formally opened its expanded tire facility and motorcycle radial-tire line at WHA ESIE 4 in Rayong; the company disclosed cumulative investment above EUR 300 million, around THB 13 billion.
WHA's official announcement says Continental formally opened its expanded tire-manufacturing facility and a motorcycle radial-tire production line at WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 4 in Rayong. This is an opened capacity-expansion milestone.
The company disclosed cumulative investment of more than EUR 300 million, or around THB 13 billion. The expansion adds annual capacity for 3 million passenger-car and light-truck tires and includes a 7.62 MW renewable-energy system. The investment, capacity and energy figures are retained as company disclosures.
