depa Presents Three Pillars for Smart Factories at Manufacturing IT Summit
At Manufacturing IT Summit Thailand on 11 March 2026, depa presented a Triple-S approach for Thai manufacturing: access to generative AI and robotics for target industries, 5G industrial and edge-computing infrastructure, and digital specialists who understand both OT and IT.
depa's official article says Thailand should move from labor-intensive production toward intelligent automation and data governance to strengthen supply-chain resilience. The three pillars are S-Curve Growth, Smarter Infrastructure and Skilled Workforce, covering deep technology support, low-latency industrial infrastructure and combined OT-IT capabilities.
The release records a policy roadmap and industry-summit proposition; it does not identify approved company projects, funding amounts or a mandatory implementation timetable. Factories translating it into action should divide business constraints, OT networks, equipment data, cybersecurity and workforce skills into verifiable stages.
