WHAUP and Saha Farm Sign Agreement for 10 MW Solar and 20 MWh BESS Project
WHAUP and Saha Farm signed an agreement to develop a 10 MW solar farm with a 20 MWh battery energy storage system on more than 65 rai in Lopburi. Installation was scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2026, so the project should not yet be described as operational.
WHAUP announced on 20 May 2026 that it had signed an agreement with Saha Farm to develop a 10 MW solar farm and a 20 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Lopburi Province. The project covers more than 65 rai; the confirmed milestone is the agreement, and the company did not announce commercial operation.
The company said installation was scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2026. Following the latest agreement, the solar capacity contracted by WHAUP for Saha Farm will rise to 56.47 MW alongside 20 MWh of combined BESS capacity. These figures describe the contracted portfolio, not capacity that is necessarily all in operation.
The project is designed to improve power stability and energy efficiency at Saha Farm's Lopburi facilities. WHAUP projects emissions reductions of approximately 6,696 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year and more than 200,900 tonnes over a 30-year lifecycle; both figures remain forecasts.
