01Define product family, customer, period, consumption window and matching dimensions.
02Release the approved forecast version with source and assumptions.
03When orders arrive, consume matching forecast instead of adding all demand.
04Test early, late, over-forecast, cancellation and different customer/product matching.
05Review unconsumed forecast, excess orders and cross-period residuals with rationale.
06Reconcile net demand entering MRP and prevent duplicate order demand.
