U9 cloud Operations: Reporting, Rework and Reversal Control
Control start, completion, good/reject quantity, labour, rework and reversal so WIP and progress remain reliable.
Learning objective
Complete one normal report and one authorised reversal, then reconcile WIP.
Roles
Operators, production management, quality, costing and IT
Prerequisites
- Effective routing and role access.
- Defined defect and rework process.
Completion checks
- Input, good, reject and transfer quantities balance by operation.
- Status and interfaces recover after reversal with evidence retained.
Common errors
- Backfilling all reports at month-end.
- Editing the original report to hide an error.
Thailand project note
For Thailand, confirm Thai/English masters, THB and foreign currencies, Asia/Bangkok time, segregation of duties and local record retention. VAT, WHT, customs, BOI, statutory accounting, product compliance and occupational-safety settings require current review by qualified Thai professionals; this is not legal or tax advice.
Steps
- 01
Confirm work order, operation sequence, work centre, standard time and reporting access.
- 02
At start, record operator, equipment, lot, time and input quantity.
- 03
At completion, record good, reject, labour, downtime and transfer to next operation.
- 04
Route rejects by defect and disposition to rework or scrap; never include them as good.
- 05
Reverse an error through authorised cancellation, retaining original, reason and approval.
- 06
Test cross-shift, partial completion, over-report, missed report and operation skipping.
- 07
Reconcile operation quantities, WIP, order progress, inventory and costing interface.
Implementation notes
- Timely and accurate reporting are equally important.
- A reversal must not erase audit history.
