Compeq Opens Samut Prakan PCB Plant After THB 10.417 Billion First Phase

Compeq Thailand held the opening ceremony for its Samut Prakan PCB plant, representing a THB 10.417 billion first phase and a plan to begin production in December 2024.

On 16 December 2024, Compeq Thailand held the opening ceremony for its facility at Asia Industrial Estate Suvarnabhumi in Samut Prakan. The first phase involved THB 10.417 billion of investment on a 112-rai site, with the buildings and equipment completed in about one year.

The plant is intended to make multilayer printed circuit boards with up to 34 layers. The official release said production was planned to start in December 2024, with more than 90% of output expected for export and about 600 initial jobs. The opening is confirmed, while the production start remains the plan stated at the time.
