Eastong Acquires More Than 15 Rai in Chonburi for First Thailand Manufacturing Base
Eastong has signed a land purchase agreement with WHA for more than 15 rai at WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 5 in Chonburi, where it plans to establish its first manufacturing base in Thailand. The company makes cooling-system products and components for electronics and automotive applications; the confirmed stage is land acquisition, not construction or operation.
Eastong positions the project as an important step in its Southeast Asian expansion. WHA says the location was selected for proximity to raw materials and key customers, together with estate utilities and infrastructure. The planned facility is intended to improve production efficiency, shorten delivery times and strengthen customer response.
Cooling-system components serve both electronics and automotive industries and may connect with existing manufacturing networks in Chonburi and the EEC. The official announcement provides no investment amount, construction schedule, building area, capacity or employment figure, so none should be inferred.
