EEC Promotes BCG and Green Investment Opportunities at IE Expo China 2026
EECO and the Mekong Institute joined IE Expo China 2026 in Shanghai from 13 to 15 April 2026, presenting EEC green-industry opportunities through policy briefings and one-to-one business matching and drawing interest from more than 100 investors and participants.
Held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, the activity presented Thailand's green-industry investment policies and connected targeted investors with environmental-technology businesses. Thailand's Department of Trade Negotiations and Industrial Estate Authority also participated through the Team Thailand approach.
The exhibition covered water and waste management, renewable energy, pollution control and greenhouse-gas reduction technologies. EECO highlighted EEC opportunities in the Bio-Circular-Green economy, renewable energy, waste management, and carbon capture, utilization and storage.
The activity formed part of a Mekong–Lancang Cooperation Special Fund-supported project implemented by the Mekong Institute to promote special economic zones in the region. The official release reports investment promotion, business matching and market interest; it does not announce that a specific project was signed, approved or put into operation.
