EECiti Infrastructure PPP Completes Market Sounding, with Formal Partner Selection Targeted for 2028
EECO completed a market-sounding exercise for EECiti's core infrastructure and utility PPP in late July 2026, attracting more than 100 investors, developers, financial institutions and agencies. It will use the feedback to refine project and RFP documents ahead of a formal private-partner selection process targeted for 2028.
The market sounding sought views on investment structures, risk allocation, project-management approaches and investment decision factors. Participants showed interest in PPP participation, but the exercise remains a project-preparation and market-consultation stage.
EECO had previously placed the indicative investment for the core infrastructure and utility package at approximately THB 72.042 billion across ten systems, including clean electricity and energy, water supply, water management, waste management, green areas and common landscaping.
Recommendations included phasing utility deployment with business-area growth, building investor and resident demand alongside infrastructure, considering financial-support and investment-facilitation measures, and connecting environmentally friendly utilities with surrounding areas and communities. EECO said it would use the feedback to refine the project and prepare for another market-sounding session.
