Visteon Signs Additional Rayong Facility Lease to Expand Cockpit Electronics Production

WHA reported on 17 June 2026 that Visteon Automotive Electronics (Thailand) had signed a new lease for an additional 2,988 square metres at WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 1 in Rayong. The space is intended for automotive cockpit electronics and new product portfolios; this is a contracted expansion, not a claim that the added facility is already fully operational.

Visteon's existing operation covers 4,700 square metres, and the new lease adds 2,988 square metres. WHA says the expanded operation is intended to support future production capacity of around two million units per year. That figure is a forward capacity objective rather than current realised output.

As automotive cockpit electronics become more software-defined and integrated, the expansion could increase demand for electronics assembly, quality control, supply-chain coordination and technical skills in Rayong. The official announcement does not disclose an investment amount, completion date or job figure.
