WHAUP and Re-x Sign 1 MWp Two-Site Rooftop Solar PPA

WHAUP and cosmetics manufacturer Re-x Products have signed a power purchase agreement for a combined 1 MWp rooftop solar system across factories in Nonthaburi and Rayong, covering more than 6,000 square metres of roof. Completion and commercial operation were expected by August 2026; the confirmed stage is the PPA and installation plan.

Each factory is planned to host about 3,000 square metres of rooftop equipment. Re-x operates across R&D, manufacturing, aseptic packing in GMP cleanrooms and brand services, and the project is intended to reduce electricity cost and support greener production.

WHA projects combined savings of more than THB 1.9 million per year and over 15,400 tonnes of avoided emissions across 30 years. These are modelled projections, not realised savings or reductions; results depend on completion, generation, load and contract performance.
