Visteon expands Rayong cockpit-electronics site with 2,988 square metres of leased space
WHA and MarkLines confirm a new lease supporting Visteon's expansion at WHA ESIE 1 in Rayong. The additional 2,988 square metres complements an existing 4,700-square-metre operation; approximately two million units per year is a future capacity description.

On 17 June 2026, WHA announced that Visteon Automotive Electronics (Thailand) had signed a new lease to expand its automotive cockpit-electronics operation at WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 1 in Rayong. MarkLines independently reported the expansion on 2 July.
The estate source says the additional 2,988 square metres will complement an existing 4,700-square-metre operation. The expanded facility is intended for cockpit electronics and a new product portfolio, with future production capacity described as around two million units per year.
The two-million figure is forward-looking. Public sources do not say whether it is incremental or total post-expansion capacity, and they disclose no current output, utilisation, order volume or operating date. It is therefore not reported as realised annual production.
A separate Visteon announcement in the same month confirms Thailand manufacturing capability in display construction and optical bonding. That product milestone does not prove that all new space serves a named model or customer; the lease and later production disclosures define the expansion scope.
The project may create demand for displays, PCBs, connectors, plastic structures, optical materials, testing and controlled-environment production. Specific opportunities still require supplier onboarding, RFQs, quality approval and contracts.
ERP and MES should separate floor area, design capacity, available capacity, schedule and actual good output, while connecting configuration, BOM/ECN, serials, software version, optical-bonding parameters, inspection, rework, equipment maintenance, warehousing and customer delivery.
